The Nurse Staffing Committee has selected Mr Aaron Katz (UW) as their new facilitator for the Nurse Staffing Project. The William D. Ruckelshaus Center is pleased to have him teaming with Aubri Wall and Cheryl Rajcich in support of this project.

Aaron Katz is a principal lecturer at the UW School of Public Health and is affiliated with the Department of Health Services and Department of Global Health MPH programs. In addition to teaching several health policy courses, Aaron is the Director of the Global Health Leadership Program and was editor-in-chief of Northwest Public Health for nine years.  On top of his long-standing research on health system change in the United States, Mr Katz’s current research interests focus on strengthening public health systems in developing countries through enhancing policy research, development and leadership training.  Aaron received the American Public Health Association's Award for Excellence in 2006 and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine's Outstanding Teaching Award in 2004.
